Day 1 We travel to north Devon making suitable refreshment stops along the way.
Day 2 Today, our journey takes us to the charming coastal resort of Lynmouth, inviting you to wander its quaint narrow streets. In the afternoon, we'll explore the hidden treasure of Arlington Court, a regency house nestled on the fringes of Exmoor. Discover an extensive estate and an impressive collection of treasures including the National Trust Carriage Museum.
Day 3 This morning, our destination is Bideford, offering opportunities to explore the vibrant artisan shops and riverfront. In the afternoon, we visit Knightshayes, an amazing property on the edge of Tiverton, where the gardens are bursting with autumn colour. Explore the Victorian kitchen garden and the ground floor of the grand Gothic Revival house, a William Burges masterpiece.
Day 4 Following a relaxed breakfast and the chance to enjoy a leisurely stroll in Barnstaple, we journey to the picturesque harbour town of Ilfracombe. There, you'll have the opportunity to savour lunch at your own pace, with numerous cafés and pubs to choose from. We return via Saunton Sands, with a short stop to take in the views and enjoy a cream tea at the Saunton Sands Hotel.
Day 5 We set off for the Clarks Village complex in Street, featuring a diverse array of over 90 stores. Our return to the local area is expected in the late afternoon.
