Travel with us to visit Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. It has been the family home of British kings and queens for almost 1,000 years and is an official residence of Her Majesty the Queen. The magnificent State Apartments are decorated with some of the finest works of art in the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Gainsborough.
This year the Queen is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee and to celebrate, her Coronation Dress and Robe of Estate she wore for her coronation on the 02 June 1953 will be on display.
After a little free time to explore the town, we then board our French Brothers boat for a 40-minute cruise on The Thames.
There will be a comfort stop on the outward journey. Windsor Castle or St Georges Chapel may close at short notice for royal engagements.
