Windsor Castle is one of the largest and oldest inhabited castles in the world. A royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today. The magnificent State Apartments are decorated with some of the finest works of art in the Royal Collection and include paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Gainsborough and Van Dyck. Visitors can also see Queen Mary's Doll's House and St George's Chapel, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in England.
Your visit to the castle is at your leisure (allow at least 2 hours for the visit). General entry ticket to the castle (may have to queue) is included.
Your 40 minute river cruise is at 1530 hrs and departs from Windsor Promenade.
There is a refreshment stop on the outward journey at Guildford Refectory.
