The Tower of London is one of the world’s most famous fortresses and has been a royal palace, prison, armoury and even a zoo. The fortified vaults shine with priceless jewels and uniformed Beefeaters stroll the grounds.
Please note: that this involves a lot of walking. In the Tower there are lots of steps and cobbles and very limited wheelchair access. After our visit to the Tower there will be free time to explore St Katherine Dock, located opposite the Tower. St Katharine Dock is Central London's only marina and has evolved into a thriving waterside community featuring quayside dining and shopping.
Every Friday, the Docks hosts the popular World Food Market on Marble Quay, serving some of the capital's best street food.
