The Queens Gallery is a glory at any time, but during our visit the exhibition - Japan: Courts and Culture holds some of the most significant examples of Japanese art and design in the western world. The exhibition will include rare pieces of intricately decorated porcelain and lacquer, early gifts of samurai armour, exquisite, embroidered screens and diplomatic gifts from the reigns of James I to Her Majesty The Queen. Together, they offer a unique insight into the worlds of ritual, honour and artistry linking the courts and cultures of Britain and Japan.
The Royal Mews, one of the finest working stables in existence, is responsible for all road travel arrangements for Her Majesty The Queen and members of the royal Family. Highlights include the Gold State Coach, the Diamond Jubilee Coach and the Ascot Landau recently used at the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. You may also see some of The Queen's horses, including the Windsor Greys.
