STEAM - Museum of the Great Western Railway is housed in a beautifully restored Grade II listed railway building in the heart of the former Swindon railway works.
It tells the story of the people who built, operated, and travelled on the GWR. The pioneering vision and engineering genius of Isambard Kingdom Brunel led to the GWR network becoming regarded as the most advanced in the world.
After your Guided Highlights Tour there’s free time to explore the museum, buy lunch or maybe look for a bargain at the designer outlet shopping centre, opposite!
There is a comfort stop on the outward journey.
