Sissinghurst Castle Gardens & Great Dixter House & Garden

Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, including the famous’ White Garden’, were created by 1920s writer Vita Sackville-West and her husband Sir Harold Nicolson.

In the afternoon we visit Great Dixter House and Gardens, the birthplace, home and passion of gardening writer, the late Christopher Lloyd. Featuring a variety of clipped topiary, wild meadow flowers, mixed borders (including the famous Long Border), ponds and the exuberant exotic garden.
