Dorset Queen is the only vintage motor yacht operating on the South Coast of England, she is thought to be an ex Dunkirk volunteer boat and is now a proud member of The UK Historic Ships Register. It has a wonderful upper viewing deck, comfortable lounge, washrooms and a fully licenced bar serving hot drinks as well as a selection of popular beers, local ales and ciders, wines, spirits and soft options.
Fish and chips will be served on board during the 90 minute cruise which passes Millionaires Row, Brownsea Castle and the five islands within Poole Harbour, with a live commentary on everything of interest that we pass and a history of the local area. Compton Acres was constructed in 1920 by Mr Thomas Simpson and today is acknowledged as one of the finest privately owned gardens in England. You are able to explore over 10 acres of horticultural heaven, relax in the charming Café & Tea Rooms, browse the treasures in the Gifted Moment Store or delve into the exciting world of plants within the Plant Centre.
