We travel to the National Trust village of Lacock in Wiltshire to visit the medieval abbey, turned family home and the birthplace of photography.
The picturesque village and 13th century abbey were given to the National Trust in 1944 by the Talbot family. The 15th century inns and cottages create a traditional backdrop for many period films. Refreshments available on site in the café.
There is a comfort stop on the outward journey.
