Howletts, set in 90 acres in Kent, is dedicated to the conservation, breeding and reintroduction of rare and endangered animals. Get up close and personal with lions, tigers, black rhino and the world-famous family of western lowland gorillas, plus the UK’s largest herd of African elephants. You can also take the treetop challenge to see the park from a monkey’s perspective! (minimum height required 1.2m.)
There is a refreshment stop at Clacket Lane Services on the outward journey.
