Buckingham Palace State Rooms & Royal Animals Exhibition

The Buckingham Palace State Rooms form the heart of the working palace and are lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection - paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Canaletto; sculpture by Canova; exquisite examples of Sèvres porcelain; and some fine English and French furniture.

The Summer Opening of the palace in 2020 includes an exhibition on the royal animals – both beloved family pets and those featured in the art of the Royal Collection.

There is a refreshment stop at Guildford Refectory on the outward journey.
