Bruges is a magical city, especially in deep winter, when its cobbled streets are alive with festivities. To add to the atmosphere, an ice rink is built on the Bruges Market Square, close to all the wonderful food and gift stalls. Colourful lights illuminate festive stalls in Grote Market and on Simon Stevinplein. Shoppers can browse tables laden with elegantly-packaged chocolates, brightly-coloured sweets and unusual hand-made decorations. Relax in one of the many restaurants and don’t forget to try the hot chocolate!
Due to restrictions in the town centre, coaches are required to park in the coach park. It is approximately 10- 15 minutes walk through the park and town centre to reach the market square. Alternatively there is a bus service for approximately 2 euros each way.
Please note that a passport is required (your passport must have six months validity from the date of return to the UK in the event of a no-deal Brexit).
