Here at Wood\u2019s Travel, we believe every Mum is one in a million and that\u2019s why we give them a little extra love on Mother\u2019s Day.  Maybe it\u2019s not just your Mum, but a Step Mum, Mother-in-Law, Grandma, or a special Aunt.  The list of women who deserve some extra love really is endless and we each have at least one truly special lady in our lives. We have trips throughout the year which include a delicious afternoon tea, including a visit to the world-renowned Sir Harold Hillier Gardens<\/a> in Hampshire where you can enjoy a cream tea.  Maybe an afternoon tea cruise<\/a> on the River Thames in Windsor or stay a little closer to home with afternoon tea at the magnificent Goodwood House<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How about a trip to London, our great Capital City, for a weekend of adventure? Whether you pay a visit to the great sights such as Big Ben and Buckingham Palace<\/a>, which this year has a special exhibition to mark the Queen\u2019s Platinum Jubilee or take a shopping trip<\/a> to remember – there\u2019s plenty to see and do which will keep you entertained all day long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Theatre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Looking for something especially unique? Why not plan a trip to the theatre!  Whether you go to London\u2019s West End, or visit a local theatre, there\u2019s something about the thrill of watching a live show which is extra special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are some wonderful attractions to visit which include a meal or perhaps the more traditional ploughman\u2019s lunch or fish and chips.  In June, stroll around historic Hever Castle<\/a> with its award-winning gardens with lunch served in the Castle\u2019s pavilion restaurant or take a cruise from Southampton<\/a> and sail along the rivers, Itchen, Hamble and Test with wonderful views of the coastline and Hampshire countryside and enjoy a lunch of Fish & chips and mushy peas! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
