On Saturday 14th\u00a0 <\/sup>May, our award-winning, family-run coach operator and travel agent teamed up with travel partners for an open day in celebration of our 45th<\/sup> anniversary<\/p>\n

After months of hard-work and organisation for the event, we were absolutely delighted to see over 400 past, present and potential customers attend for an opportunity to learn more about the history of the family-run business and its current wide range of trips and holidays, as well as enjoying the option to experience on of our luxury coaches first-hand with a shuttle service, by coach, running to and from Arundel town throughout the day.<\/p>\n

The picturesque backdrop of Arundel Castle Cricket Ground made a wonderful setting for our Woods marquee, in which we showcased a range of photographs, articles and memorobilia going back to the business’ establishment in 1971. The marquee was also home to display boards containing details of selected coach holidays, day trips, cruises and other travel agency products – perfect in wetting the travel appetite of our visitors!<\/p>\n

The main hall was the venue for our Woods\u2019 travel partners to showcase their businesses and provide presentations to guests, as well as offering on-the-day bookings, with Warner Leisure Hotels, Saga Holidays, CroisiEurope, Wendy Wu and Fred Olsen to name a few.<\/p>\n

Pinks Vintage Ice Cream were on hand to provide delicious ice creams to Woods guests and spectators of the 20\/20 cricket match with George\u2019s Regis Jazz Band offering an afternoon of melodic tunes and \u2018Owls About Town\u2019 surprising guests with the chance to get up close and personal with their beautiful parliament of owls.<\/p>\n

As if that wasn’t enough, we also held a grand raffle on the day with a Woods holiday for two as 1st prize and many other fabulous prizes which were donated by our wonderful travel partners. The total raised on the day was \u00a3750.00 which will go to our nominated charity the RNLI.<\/p>\n

We are absolutely delighted by the success of our event, and would like to thank every single person that was involved in creating such a wonderful experience for our customers.<\/p>\n
