Here at Wood’s Travel, we think each and every Mum is one in a million and what other excuse do we need to give them a little extra love for Mother’s Day! Afternoon Tea

Theatre

Looking for something especially unique? Why not plan a trip to the theatre!  Whether you go to London’s West End, or visit a theatre in a more local town, there’s something about the thrill of watching a live show which is extra special.

Unique Dining Experiences

Is your Mum a bit of a foodie? Does she like to try new and different places? Why not consider booking a trip to a restaurant that offers something a little different to your typical ‘high end’ dining experience.

Is she an animal lover? How about joining us on our trip to the National Cat Centre where we have the opportunity to see this wonderful facility and some of the cats waiting to be re-homed. A delicious two course meal is then waiting for us at the Llama Park, where you can spend time with the llamas, alpacas, donkeys, goats, pigs and horses eager to meet you.

Looking for something a little different? How about a cruise down the river from Southampton in May, on a harbour tour enjoying the views on board the blue funnel boat with a fish and chips lunch.

Perhaps she’d prefer a roast dinner? We’ll be dining at a beautiful country pub in the village of Benenden, Kent on 13th Jun and learning more about this little village and its famous resident, Kitty Fisher. From here, we’ll enjoy a coach trip of the High Weald to see some of the sights.

Is there a special place that she loved visiting as a child? Somewhere she’s always wanted to go, but has never had the means or opportunity to do so?
