Day 1 Morning collection from your home to join our coach for the drive west. We arrive at our hotel in St Agnes late afternoon.
Day 2 A morning in the coastal town of St Ives with its cobbled streets winding between tiny fishermen’s cottages. A free afternoon in St Agnes.
Day 3 Today we begin at Padstow, a delightful little port, nestling on the beautiful Camel Estuary, with a colourful harbour surrounded by pastel-washed medieval houses. In the afternoon we visit Pencarrow House & Gardens. We enjoy a guided tour of the house, get to know the secrets of this ancient family home, its hidden passageways, portraits with eyes that follow you, and statues sporting top hats! We then have time to explore the gardens.
Day 4 A visit to the famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, which now cover 57 acres with a further 100 acres of ornamental woodland, an impressive range of plant breeds and features, including an Italian garden and a subtropical ‘jungle’ valley. This afternoon we visit Truro, Cornwall’s cathedral city.
Day 5 A free day to relax and explore St Agnes.
Day 6 We travel east with suitable refreshment stops, reaching the local area late afternoon
This delightful and elegant hotel has been tastefully extended and is set in its own secluded gardens and woodland, and only 100 yards from the main street of the unspoilt village of St Agnes. All rooms have TV, telephone, hairdryer and hospitality tray. The hotel has WiFi in the lounges, does not have a lift, but some ground floor rooms are available.
